These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of Pinify (the "Service", "we", "us"), a Windows desktop application for Pinterest growth automation — keyword research, AI-assisted article and pin creation, data-driven descriptions, and safe pin scheduling. Pinify is operated by Pinify Labs, contactable at support@pinterify.app. By installing, activating, or using Pinify, you agree to these Terms. All payments are processed by Paddle.com as our authorised reseller and Merchant of Record. All prices are listed in USD.

1. Eligibility & accounts

You must be at least 18 years old and legally able to enter into a binding contract to use Pinify. By purchasing a license you confirm that the information you provide is accurate and that you are authorised to make the purchase.

2. License grant

Subject to your compliance with these Terms and timely payment of any applicable fees, Pinify grants you a non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to install and use the Service on one computer per license seat. The license is bound to your machine's hardware fingerprint. You may move your license to a new computer at any time by clicking "Deactivate & release seat" in the app, then activating the same key on the new machine.

You may not (a) copy, modify, decompile, or reverse-engineer the Service except as permitted by applicable law; (b) sublicense, rent, lease, or resell the Service; (c) bypass, disable, or interfere with the licensing system or any security feature; or (d) use the Service to develop a competing product.

3. Free trial

New installations receive a 3-day premium free trial automatically. No payment information is required to start the trial. During the trial you have access to all premium features. When the 3-day window expires, the app gates further use behind license activation until you purchase and activate a paid plan. The trial is offered once per machine fingerprint.

4. Payment — lifetime licenses & monthly plans

Lifetime licenses (Starter, Growth, Max) are sold as one-time lifetime purchases through our payment processor, Paddle.com. Pricing displayed at checkout includes any applicable taxes. By completing a lifetime purchase you authorise the charge of the listed amount to your chosen payment method as a single, one-time transaction. Lifetime licenses have no auto-renewal and no recurring charge — once paid, your license is valid for the lifetime of the Service, including all future updates released within your purchased tier, and we will never charge your payment method again for the same license.

Monthly plans (Starter, Growth, Max) are auto-renewing subscriptions: by subscribing you authorise Paddle to charge the listed monthly amount to your payment method at the start of each billing cycle until you cancel. You may cancel at any time from the Paddle customer portal linked in your receipt email or by emailing support@pinterify.app — cancellation stops all future charges, and your access plus any remaining plan allowance continue until the end of the already-paid period. Monthly allowances (pins and articles per month, by plan) reset at each renewal and unused allowance does not carry over.

"Lifetime" means the operational lifetime of the Pinify product and the company operating it. If we ever discontinue the product entirely, we will provide at least 90 days' notice and offer either a final installer that runs without server validation or a prorated refund — your choice.

5. Refunds

We offer a 30-day full refund on every paid plan, no questions asked. To request a refund, email support@pinterify.app within 30 days of your original purchase with your license key. Refunds are processed through Paddle and typically appear in your account within 5–10 business days depending on your payment method. After the refund is processed your license is deactivated.

6. Acceptable use

You agree not to use Pinify to:

Generate, distribute, or publish content that is illegal, defamatory, harassing, infringes intellectual property rights, or violates any third party's rights;
Create deceptive content, impersonate other people or entities, or misrepresent your affiliation with any organisation;
Generate sexually explicit material involving minors, content promoting violence, or material that violates the policies of any AI provider connected to the app (Claude, OpenAI, Gemini, OpenRouter);
Scrape, harvest, or systematically collect data from any source in violation of that source's terms;
Distribute malware, attempt to gain unauthorised access to any system, or interfere with the operation of the Service.

7. Generated content & ownership

You retain full ownership of articles, pin creatives, descriptions, and other output generated through Pinify, subject to the licensing terms of any third-party AI providers and image sources you connect (e.g., Anthropic, OpenAI, Google, OpenRouter, Pexels, Pixabay, Wikimedia, iNaturalist, Openverse). You are solely responsible for verifying that your published content complies with applicable laws, search-engine policies, and the terms of service of any platform you publish to.

Pinify does not claim ownership of any content you generate. We do not store, transmit, or process your generated articles on our servers — generation happens between your computer and the AI provider you've configured.

8. Third-party services

Pinify integrates with several third-party services that you bring your own credentials to (Claude, OpenAI, Gemini, OpenRouter, your Pinterest account(s), WordPress sites, Next.js endpoints, Pexels, Pixabay, YouTube, etc.). Your use of those services is governed by their own terms — including Pinterest's community guidelines and spam policies. We are not responsible for the availability, accuracy, or policies of any third-party service.

9. Updates & changes

We may release updates, bug fixes, and new features at our discretion. Some updates may modify or remove features. We will not remove a feature that you paid for during your then-current subscription term without offering equivalent functionality or a prorated refund.

We may revise these Terms from time to time. The "Last updated" date above reflects the most recent revision. Continued use of the Service after revisions constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

10. Warranty & liability

The Service is provided "AS IS" without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Pinify and its affiliates shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenue, whether incurred directly or indirectly, arising from your use of the Service.

Our total cumulative liability for any claim arising under or related to these Terms shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the twelve (12) months immediately preceding the event giving rise to the claim.

11. Termination

You may stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or terminate your license if you materially breach these Terms (e.g., misuse of the Service, fraud, attempted license bypass). On termination your right to use the Service ends; the refund policy in section 5 still applies if you are within the 30-day window.
